At the 11th hour of the 11th day of November 1918, the armistice was declared in Europe. It is the end of the First World War. This episode traces the last days of this bloody conflict that has been nicknamed 'The War to End All Wars'. This dramatic story of the final days of World War 1 finds soldiers still fighting and Germany turning to anarchy. Meanwhile, in a wood in France, hostile negotiations between Allied and German delegates take place on a railway siding in France, and on the battlefield officers knowingly lead soldiers to their deaths.
