They travel into the Rhondda Valley, across the Brecon Beacons, and finally into Snowdonia in their classic 1930s Morgan 4/4. Along the course of their Welsh odyssey, they discover the origins of the AA, which prove far more subversive than expected, recreate a vintage speed trap, and hitch a lift to the top of the world's biggest slate mine, before catching up with one of Christopher's oldest friends.
