Sandi Toksvig explores the UK's wildest, most remote and beautifully designed holiday homes, accompanied by some of the nation's most fascinating and funny women. From a lighthouse cottage on a private island near the Isle of Skye and a stunning tree house in the Wye Valley, to the only nature reserve in England in which you can stay, every episode visits a different region and promises hidden away places offering glorious sanctuary.

Chapter 1 Suffolk

Sandi is joined by Alison Steadman to seek out extraordinary escapes in the wilds of Suffolk.

Chapter 2 Kent

Sandi is joined by Jessica Hynes to explore the ultimate staycations in Jessica's home county of Kent. The pair visit a lovingly restored early 1900s windmill outside the village of Benenden, before travelling to the Isle of Sheppey, where they explore Elmley National Nature Reserve, the only nature reserve in England where you can stay overnight.

Chapter 3 Scotland

Sandi is joined by Sindhu Vee to explore some of the best staycations Scotland has to offer. First, the pair visit a private island off the coast of Skye, before checking into a luxury shooting lodge in the Highlands. Finally, they arrive at a truly unique, elliptical shaped home built to celebrate the island views of the Inner Hebrides and the Sound of Mull.

Chapter 4 Cotswolds

Sandi is joined by Prue Leith to explore some of the best staycations in the Cotswolds. The pair visit a luxury tree house, a striking home made from glass, and colourful and chic home designed by Kate Moss.
