Cameras follow wildlife such as American red squirrels, which battle to hang onto food caches. Meanwhile, on the treeless plains, ancient musk ox are forced to search for theirs

Part 3 Summer

Summer has arrived in Alaska. Free of ice, rivers and streams can flow again. This sets the scene for one of the world's greatest migrations, the Alaskan salmon run.
