Part 2 The Decisive Fight

In the winter of 1941/​42, the German advance in Russia faltered. The defeat of Stalingrad followed in early 1943 and finally the largest tank battle of all time took place near Kursk. October 1941 as Hitler believes his triumph is imminent, his men and tanks are freezing where they stand. Meanwhile, the Red Army consolidates it's positions. Blinded by his pride and his murderous madness, Hitler persisted in a series of errors that would seal the fate of the Wehrmacht in Stalingrad, the tomb of German power, and the first sign of the Nazi weakening, first in the east, then on all fronts.
