“Earth From Above” is a serie of 15 documentaries (plus a special Copenhaguen episode) of 90 minutes each, presented by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and dedicated to the major challenges faced by our planet, It was broadcast on France 2 and France 3, French national television. “Earth From Above” brings the viewer beautiful High Definition imags of the Earth. Each episodes talks about a particular environmental challenge. The show “Earth From Above” is 4 years of shooting for 4 seasons and a total of 15 episodes plus special Copenhague (“A night for the Earth”)

Part 1: 6 billion people to feed

Feed 6 billion people is the daily challenge of the world's farmers . To get there, breeding and intensive agriculture have appeared there fifty years. But today productivist system is exceeded. Too many pesticides pollute our land and we need time and nature to properly raise animals. In this program , Yann Arthus -Bertrand takes us on a trip to France and the world to meet farmers who fight against these abuses . We also see that we as consumers can make a difference by changing our eating habits. For our health and sustainable development of our resources depend .
