**Part 2 Machete Slaughter Machete Slaughter profiles the history of the Trinitarios, meaning the Trinity Brotherhood in English. Trinitarios is one of New York City's most violent and fastest rising street gangs. With their reach spreading into neighboring New Jersey and beyond, these machete-welding Latino gangsters are now battling older, more established gangs. Formed in the state prison system of New York as a merger of three Hispanic street gangs with members predominately from the Dominican Republic, the Trinitarios have spread their violence across the Eastern United States. The machete is the weapon of choice for the Trinitarios.
