In the garden of a Tokyo temple survives a jewel of nature a thousand-year-old cherry tree which is said to be the oldest in Japan. Each year, its flowering is followed by millions of inhabitants. In the Mexican province of Oaxaca lives the Tule tree, a majestic cypress that continues to grow and is said to be the largest in the world. A feast celebrates its longevity.
