Wealth TV - Blueprints of War Collection (2011) Part 1 The National World War II Museum

– Original 5-part series had also two more episodes “The USS Missouri” & “Pearl Harbor” –

For the second time in the 20th century, the United States became involved in a devastating world conflict. World War II was the most lethal conflict in human history, fought on land, at sea, and in the air from the German invasion of Poland in 1939 to the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri in August 1945. The greatest and most destructive war in history, World War II involved gigantic struggles not only in Europe, but also brutal island fighting in the Pacific as well. Over 400,000 Americans perished in the four years of involvement, an American death rate second only to the Civil War. Blueprints of War will strive to encompass the most famous military conflict, and bring to life the American Spirit, weapons, the courage and sacrifice of the young men in the battlefields of World War II.
