Based on previously unseen interviews and colourised archive footage the film helps us to understand the mechanisms of political radicalisation, and how thousands of men were able to pursue one ideological goal, without constraint or empathy for human kind

Part 2 Extermination

Hitler's soldiers commit one of the biggest massacres in history.During WWII, Hitler put the SS in charge of exterminating the designated enemies of the regime. In good conscience and thinking they were defending Germany, a large number of young SS volunteers executed communists and Soviet Jews.
